What evig does: The directory shows technicians with their skills. Search for your city and contact the person who fits your problem directly.
“My child needs a computer for school, but a new one costs too much.”
What evig does: The marketplace has used notebooks that are good enough for school and homework. Every listing says whether evig has tested the device — and if not, it says that too.
“I’d like to work with AI, but I can’t afford the subscription on my own.”
What evig does: Share a subscription with others from the community. Someone opens a pool, others join, and everyone pays only their own share.
“At work I’m suddenly supposed to use AI, and nobody shows me how.”

Working devices end up as waste, even though a notebook causes most of its CO₂ before it is ever switched on — when it is made.
What evig does: Every device resold through evig is one that does not have to be built again. We show openly how much CO₂ that saves, with sources — and only where there are figures we can back up.
Whoever can afford AI learns faster and works better. The gap to everyone else widens on its own.

AI and robotics are shifting who can do which work. We are working to make sure access to them does not depend on what someone earns — through devices, through help, through software, through training, and through showing up where the work happens.
Machines good enough for real work
Used laptops you can genuinely work on, plus GPUs and the hardware AI runs on — chosen, tested, affordable. No printers, no e-waste with a price tag. That a machine kept in use also helps the environment is the consequence, not the sales pitch.
Find someone who will fix it
Repair and IT help should be as easy to find as a ride: post what is wrong, get offers from technicians nearby, pick one. Not wait until somebody has time.
Linux and open software
An eight-year-old laptop often runs better under Linux than it did the day it was bought. We set it up, show the open alternatives to expensive software — and tie nobody to a vendor.
Retraining for a labour market with AI
