evig makes access to intelligence affordable: curated tech, AI and robotics at fair prices. We're not a charity, but a market-and-quality model — good and affordable because tech stays in circulation instead of ending up as waste.
On top of that comes repair that's truly within reach — workshop, repair café and a technician network — and a circular marketplace for tested second-hand tech. What works should stay in circulation.

Why evig exists
A spin-off born of conviction
The same roots, a bolder path
evig was founded in 2026 in Zurich — as a spin-off from Zurich's circular-IT scene, out of Revamp-IT. Since 2003, that non-profit association has been turning old hardware back into usable computers: repairing them, reinstalling Linux and free software, passing them on instead of scrapping them — and opening access to technology for people on a small budget. Good, important work, and the ground evig grew from.
Out of that work we built the platform — marketplace, AI assistant, workshop — and a techno-optimist vision: making access to intelligence, to AI and robotics, affordable for everyone, fast and beyond Zurich. Revamp-IT stays with what it does well — repair and reuse, at a calm, local pace. A different goal, a different tempo.
So we walk our path independently. evig keeps the roots of the circular economy and aims them at the age of intelligence — full ownership, no committee to convince, a genuine market-and-quality model, open and independent. Revamp-IT's history stays Revamp-IT's; evig writes its own.
